In the heart of Downtown Los Angeles California, lies one of the best indoor skateboard parks ever created. The Berrics is a privately owned indoor skatepark warehouse, owned by professional skateboarders Eric Koston and Steve Berra in Downtown Los Angeles. Together both Eric Koston and Steve Berra created Theberrics.com in 2007 which is has now become one of the most popular skateboarding websites. Cool thing about the website it that it’s based primarily on videos. Each post made is a different video, and they use it to communicate to the viewer and give them a first hand experience of what goes down at the park with out having to read about it.  The skatepark brings many professional skateboards like Paul Rodriguez, Andrew Reynolds, Marc Johnson, and Sean Malto etc. in for different skate sessions. Almost like a training facility, as various professionals’ session different obstacles performing numerous tricks, while being filmed by one of The Berrics filmers. When a different professional skateboarder visits The Berrics, each video is posted on the website called “Battle Commanders,” so viewers can see what these pro skaters are doing on the skateboard nowadays instead of waiting for video parts that take years to release. The Berrics also offers an online store called “Canteen,” where anyone can purchase a Berrics brand shirt, or sometimes they offer limited edition collaboration products, like the Diamond Supply Co. and The Berrics collaboration t-shirts. If online purchase’s is an inconvenience, The Berrics offers in-store purchase’s called “Berrics Unified” which can be found at local skateboard shops in your area. But since The Berrics is known worldwide, they recommend that if you wish to make online purchase’s that you order as soon as you can because their products are limited in stock. The Berrics also has “Battle at the Berrics,” which is when they get a list of the best professionals and amateurs together and play a fun game of flat ground skate to redeem to the ultimate prize of being the Battle at the Berrics champion. So far there as been three rounds of “Battle at the Berrics” and it just increases their viewers because there is no other website that offers updated skate video post as often as they do. And to see your favorite skater compete for a 10,000 cash prize for being the best flat ground skater is pretty cool to watch. I personally love the Berrics.com!
